was'nt very taken by this kit at first, but my curiosity got the better
of me and I broke down and got it.Not being a fan of vinyl kits, I was'nt
even sure if I would start it when it came in,but something about it
(beside the fact that it's a Clive Barker design) drove me forward. The
design was thought out well, and went together very good, although the
section where the upper and lower torso go together was a little tough to
conceal. One thing that had to immediaely go was the huge schlong that this
thing has. I display my kits openly around my house, and I will never
understand why some kits are made with penises that would make John Holmes
jealous! Doing the plastic surgery (pun intended) on this creepy critter
made things a bit more difficult, but not impossible. The altar is hollow,
with an open bottom, so it took a ton of filler and resin. If it's not at
least partially filled, it wlll be top heavy and hard to pin the figure to.
The Demon is'nt heavily detailed, but I believe it has plenty to comlpiment
it, and a lot would have taken away from Mr. Barkers concept. For those who
collect box art and instructions, these are done nicely and better than
most I have seen lately.
